This is a demonstration application for exploring relationships between watershed hydrology and bird habitat across the western United States. It combines USGS Watershed Boundary Dataset units, annual riparian habitat models, and streamflow records into a single interactive atlas.

  • Interactive watershed navigation from HUC-2 regions down to HUC-10 sub-watersheds
  • Annual Southwestern Willow Flycatcher (SWFL) and Yellow-billed Cuckoo (YBCU) habitat model layers
  • USGS streamflow, regression and hydrologic sensitivity analysis
